Week Thirty Nine

Another great week is over, here are the highlights:

Maddie enjoyed trying on the Halloween hats in our lunch break :)
We had lots of lovely weather and some more beautiful sunsets :)
I treated myself to a selfie stick :)
Which Maddie was very unimpressed with!
I had a little win at bingo, a girl at the next table won £252,000!!!!
I annoyed my sister with my selfie stick :)
We've had lots of eight legged visitors to the garden, I hate it when Alfie runs through their webs!
I treated myself to a new handbag which I absolutely love :)
Dirty pudding :)
I spent the weekend down at the seaside with Paul :)
Pippy was not impressed with the selfie stick :)
The sun shone all weekend :)
And we went to a lovely patisserie for a treat :)
I blame it on The Great British Bake Off!
And of course the selfie stick came out again!
I chilled out with ice cream, crochet and a new film :)
This boy was so pleased to see me home :)
And I did see the super moon but it was white and not red :(
This new week has already had a great start.

Week Thirty Eight

Week thirty eight was another good one, here are the highlights:

Although it rained a lot the sun did say some lovely goodbyes as it set!
I found cotton candy flavoured grapes!
My Studio Calico kit arrived, probably one of the last because I think the contents of the kits are getting less and less :(
It rained a lot on Wednesday and when I got home I realised I'd run out of milk, luckily my neighbour saved me from having to go out and get drenched!
I had an appointment here:
And got a sticker for being brave when my tooth was removed :)
The grapes helped me get this award!
And I really enjoyed my dirty pudding :)
We had a draw at work and I won!
The prize was this new Apple watch :)
I went on a road trip:
To go and see this:
With these lovely ladies :)
This one was designed by the man who does the illustrations on The Great British Bake Off :)
This was one of my favourites :)
And it was great to see them all lined up in one place.
On Sunday I had a lazy day of scrapping :)
Before settling down with my crochet and the new series of Downton Abbey :)
The whole week went far too quickly for my liking!

Here's hoping this week has lots of fun in store too.

Week Thirty Seven

Week thirty seven was a really quiet one, here are the highlights:

The weather was gorgeous with lots of sun so lots of playtime in the garden for Alfie :)
I got caught up with pen pal letters while watching Jack Bauer :)
Witnessing our Queen becoming the longest serving monarch was amazing, I wonder when or even if that record will ever be beaten!
It was great to see blue skies :)
Dirty pudding was lovely :)
Alfie managed to find his birthday present a day early, doesn't he look proud of himself?!?
I had a night out with dinner at bingo, very rock and roll!
I tried a new Slimming World recipe, it was delicious :)
I thought I'd better get the grass cut because who knows how long the nice weather will last.
We celebrated Alfie's birthday with cake, we've had him 6 years now!
I went to a great show our local theatre, music from the 50s and 60s.
On Sunday I went to Painshill Park for the Memory Walk.
Eastenders very own Nasty Nick started us off!
The walk went up and down and up and down but the scenery was amazing!
I raised over £200 and would like to thank everyone who sponsored me.
The reward for finishing was lovely :)
And then after getting the car cleaned:
It was time to tend to my blisters...
And enjoy a glass or two of wine :)
This week is going to have some highs (meeting up with good friends) and some lows (having a tooth pulled out!) but I'm looking forward to all of it!
