Week Fifteen

Week fifteen was fabulous, here are the highlights:

Monday was a Bank Holiday and it was very sunny at the seaside:

So we had sunny snacks :)

Tuesday was back to work so I have no idea why Maddie looks so happy :)

After work on Tuesday I cut the grass for the first time this year.

I had to pick some paperwork up from a friend, when I got to work and looked in the bag I found this :) This really cheered me up because it was on the same day that I realised my 95 year old necklace was no longer around my neck, luckily it's been found but not yet reunited with me.

My weight took a hard hit over Easter but I still enjoyed dirty pudding :)

I moved desks at work so now I sit right next to my awful manager (AKA my sister) :)

I had a visit to the dentist first thing Friday morning but luckily it was just for a clean and polish :)

We had choosing tea on Friday :)

With a well deserved and much appreciated beer :)

I got my hands on this little beauty :)

And spent Saturday at my crop :)

I was very tempted to kidnap my brother's dog Max, not sure how Alfie would have felt about him though.

I enjoyed a coffee in the garden on Sunday, after cutting the grass for a second time this week!

And Alfie enjoyed a pig's ear in the shade :)

It was my lovely neighbour's 90th birthday and he dropped in 2 of the biggest slices of birthday cake I have ever seen for me and Maddie!

And on one of the pieces there was a lovely picture of him when he was younger

So a great week and a lovely weekend.

Now I'm ready to tackle week sixteen!

Crochet Mood Blanket Week Fourteen

Another week is done and another rainbow of colour has been added to my blanket.  Here's what the colours meant to me this week:

Day 92 - Magenta, I had a weight loss and met up with my friends Steph and Dave :)

Day 93 - Aspen, It was Good Friday, I was off work and went to Paul's :)

Day 94 - Cream, it was an overcast day and we gave Pippy a bubble bath :)

Day 95 - Saffron, we had a lovely long walk along the beach in the sunshine :)

Day 96 - Sherbet - it was a gorgeous day without a cloud in the sky :)

Day 97 - Lime, I cut the grass for the first time this year!

Day 98 - Aster, my 95 year old necklace was no longer hanging around my neck :( After many tears and much searching I found it again :)

It is getting so big now and I know it won't be long before it's too warm to enjoy having it on my lap while I work on it :)

I'm looking forward to growing it a bit more this week :)

Week Fourteen

It's a day late but here are the highlights from week fourteen:

It always makes me smile when this van turns up outside my office :)

I had my first bowl of cherries of the year :)

And a cheeky glass of red :)

I had plenty of cuddles with this handsome boy :)

I got my stamps and pens out for the first time in ages years!

And made this card :)

I met up with my friend Steph who was visiting from Yorkshire :)

And where there is Steph there is our friend Dave :)

I had another weight loss and enjoyed this dirty pudding, thanks Dave :)

I had a little taste of Christmas over Easter when I did a bit of catch up with my Project Life :)

Pippy had a bath! She hated it at first but loved it in the end and ran around after like a little puppy!

And then she promptly fell asleep on her new bed :)

I finally got Project Life 2014 finished!

Me and Paul ended the week by having a lovely, long walk along the beach :)

I really enjoyed last week and I'm hoping that this week will be just as good.

Crochet Mood Blanket Week Thirteen

Another week of hooking and another set of colours added to my blanket!  Here's the mood for week thirteen:

Day 85 - Spring Green, I had a lovely day and a weight loss!

Day 86 - Turquoise, It was another lovely day and it was Friday :)

Day 87 - Violet, a really busy day and lunch out with my friend Clare :)

Day 88 - Spice, A lovely, lazy day :)

Day 89 - Sherbet - A bright day but a really cold evening :(

Day 90 - Lime, a busy day at work with computer problems, my aunt's funeral :(

Day 91 - Pomegranate, a good day and a new computer at work :)

And here it is:

This is a project that will see me right up to the end of the year. It will have 20 rows and 18 columns, so 360 squares.  That will leave me with 5 days at the end of the year with no squares so I'm going to give it 5 borders :)

Five Favourites From March

I always think I haven't done much during the month until the time comes to pick my five favourite photos and find it hard to narrow them down! This month's photos aren't the greatest but they all have a story I want to tell.

Our eclipse selfie, the day was so grey and we couldn't see a thing :(

I won the Greatest Loser award at my slimming group :)

I really love this photo from the start of the Marsden March :)

And the final favourite is a walk in the park with my girl in our lunch break :)

I'm off to my local crop after Easter so I'm looking forward to working with this photos then.
