At the start of the month I shared my
five favourite photos from December, now I'm back to share the layouts I made using those photos.
I am a Christmas nut, I really do love it, but once it's over I really don't like to see little reminders about - weird I know! For that reason, although I have lots of Christmas stash, I never really scrap Christmas.
This year I was very lucky because Maddie's present to me was Shimelle's Christmas in a Box. I mixed it up with 2013's Christmas in a Box to create these layouts.
I've gone from someone who's scared of journalling to someone who fills half a page with it on this layout!
I really love this photo of Maddie and Alice and I hope the dark background makes it pop off the page :)
Lots of stamping on this one, something I'm trying to do more of:
I actually covered the page with random date stamps to give it a bit of interest:
And I found the perfect paper for these photos :)
So that's another five layouts that I'm really happy with in my album.
I'll be back next week to share my five favourite photos from January.
Thanks for stopping by
Jo xx

Great layouts and a great use of the kits! Looking forward to seeing your January photos later in the week. I will be joining in again this month :)
Well, yay! for all that journaling :) Every single one of these pages will be a pleasure to look back years from now, that's for sure
you were on a roll...they are all lovely. Liking the random date stamped over the page too x
Great job on these pages. I like the idea of using the date stamps in that way - I tend to collect those roller stamps in the same way I collect PL cards.
A great selection of pages.
Great layouts. Don't be intimidated by the journaling. As you have said, once you get going, you can tell a pretty good story!
I love this idea & your layouts turned out great!! I'm making my plans for February & one of them is to choose my January top five & scrap this. Thanks for the INSPIRATION!
Naughty Paul is right ... And in Gorgeous Gerties no less lol. You've got great layouts here Jo, and great that you're journalling a lot on your layouts xx
Lovely layouts and loving the different techniques you have used. Have my 5 faves from Jan ready to scrap but I think I will make a double page with one large photo on one side and the others on the second. Thanks for the inspiration.
Great layouts Jo...I have one left to do! Xx
They all look great. It's such a good idea to do this.
