Week One

Week one is already done and dusted, here are the highlights:

I've watched some lovely sunsets through my kitchen window:
Alfie spent a day thinking he was lord of the manor!
Before catching up with For the Love of Dogs at Christmas:
Maddie was overjoyed at spending some time at her nan's house!
I had some of my mum's amazing turkey stew, it was delicious.
This face melted my heart!
I spent my Christmas money on treats for me for a change!
And went to bingo on New Years Eve :)
Before seeing the New Year in with my girl.
Although I had a massive weight gain over Christmas I still enjoyed a dirty pudding :)
I thought the fence was going to come down when we had strong winds!  The neighbour's landlord got a quote in March to get it repaired and now he's waited so long he'll probably have to replace it!
I crocheted my first ever granny square for my 2015 Crochet Mood Blanket, more on that another time though :)
And I also started on my Cosy Stripe blanket from the Attic24 blog, it's been so lovely to be working on stuff for me instead of Christmas presents for others :)
I went to the seaside to visit this pretty girl.
And enjoyed a Chinese with Paul :)
And then I drove home in the worst fog I've seen for over 20 years!
It seems that as quickly as Christmas arrived it disappeared :( Today it's all back to normal and back to work, that will be a shock to the system because I've been off for 16 days now!

I hope you've had a good week
Thanks for stopping by
Jo xx

Is that a pale blue satchel I see? Lovely!

Turkey stew sounds great: do you make it with fresh turkey, or with cooked leftovers?

Have a great week, Jo
