Week Twenty One

Week twenty one was another good one, here are the highlights:

I started the week with a lovely new notebook, I'm a notebook addict and could start every week with a new one :)
I had a nice little win at bingo :)
Alfie was a lazy lump!
I got a lovely parcel from The Homemakery :)
Which contained this book:
We had thunder and lightening and were left with a lovely rainbow :)
We actually opened the blinds at work and this is the view from my desk:
I saw this little lady and I saw a lot of myself in this grumpy face :)
I lost 4.5lbs and enjoyed dirty pudding :)
It was the boss' last day at work before his cruise so he treated us to Nandos :)
I had a lovely weekend at Paul's, I felt like I'd been there for a week!
I found an amazing quilt shop, Cherry Tree Fabrics, which is worth a visit if you're near Boscombe.
My sister borrowed my tent and came camping in the area so we popped over to see her...and my tent :)
I also saw my first ever tent again! It's really made me want to go camping and Paul has agreed to a weekend away :)
We had a picnic in the forest :)
And went to a boot sale where I was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of honeypots for sale on one stall!
I also found time to keep up to date with my crochet mood blanket, do five layouts and some knitting!

Here's hoping that this week is just as productive.

Week Twenty

I know I'm a bit like Pollyanna and only see the good bits but last week really was a good week, here are the highlights:

Maddie loves a hat and hats love her, she thought this would be nice for casual day wear in the office :)
I had enough time in the morning before work to do some Project Life catch up!
I've started walking with my friend Jo again and, although we were going to take our first walk easy, we managed 5.89 miles!
Alfie got a new toy and just look at how happy he was :)
I went out to dinner with my friend Sarah and her daughter Emily :)
Dirty pudding :)
Paul came up for the weekend and he bought beer and pizza!
We had a wander around the shops on Saturday and enjoyed coffee and cake while people watching :)
Alfie enjoyed spending lots of time in the garden :)
I got some very happy mail, a new project that I'm  hoping won't take longer than a year!
Saturday night was bingo night, lots of laughs and a win for me and Paul :)
I cut the grass on Sunday and spent time relaxing in the sunshine with Alfie :)
And Pippy :)
Then the weekend was over and I sat and chilled out with a cold beer :)
Now I feel very relaxed and ready to tackle the week ahead.

Crochet Mood Blanket Week Nineteen

The evenings have been a bit chilly here this week so it's been lovely to work on my blanket.  Here are the colours for week nineteen:

Day 127 - Lime, I had a massive weight gain :(
Day 128 - Turquoise, I had a great day and was really happy :)
Day 129 - Magenta, I spent the day at the crop and had a win at bingo in the evening :)
Day 130 - Spring Green, it was a lovely day so I went for a long walk and cut the grass :)
Day 131 - Saffron, another gorgeous, sunny day :)
Day 132 - Violet, I had a nice day and went for a really long walk in the evening :)
Day 133 - Pomegranate, I went out to dinner with my best friend and her daughter :)
I love how colours clash and blend depending on where they are placed :)
Rain here today so I might have silver as my next colour!

Week Nineteen

You know a week is going to be a good one when it starts with a Bank Holiday, last week was a good week, here are the highlights:

We walked down to the beach to see Bournemouth FC parade the Champions League cup, the beach was red!
A rare photo of Paul smiling :)
My tooth broke, obviously this was not a highlight!
Someone was not happy to be back at work on Tuesday!
I had a little win at bingo :)
And some lovely cuddles with this handsome boy :)
Maddie going in for a kiss with the boy :)
I saw hundreds of photos like this on Thursday so there was no way I could forget to vote!
I had a huge weight gain but still had dirty pudding!
Maddie asked me to take a non posed photo of her!
Saturday was crop day where I did almost nothing except eat, chat and laugh!
Another little win at bingo :)
On Sunday morning I went for a long walk and then cut the grass, this was my reward, a Slimming World big boy breakfast :)
Alfie enjoyed playing in the garden with the newly cut grass :)
And then the weekend was almost over so I did a bit of knitting while watching the BAFTAs.
Now I'm ready for a new week with some lovely plans.
