Let There Be Light!

This morning, for the first time in what seems like ages, I was woken up early by the sun streaming through my windows!  Now I love the rain, I love to be indoors and watch the rain slamming against the windows and could quite happily put up with rain every day.  The thing I love about the sun though is that it makes people nicer, they seem happier when the go about their business and the days just seem better.

This week, so far, has been lovely.  I went to my niece's birthday party on Sunday and I will share that day another time, once I've uploaded the photos.  The cake my sister made was amazing to look at, can't comment on how it tastes because she keeps forgetting to bring a slice into work for me to try!

Before I went to the party I quickly did a layout for the weekly challenge over on UKScrappers.  The prompt was to use red, white and blue as a colour scheme, scrap two photos and write some journalling.  Here is my effort:
Another couple of pictures scrapped from my trip to the vintage fair on Southbank last year.
I've been to bingo twice, no winnings though, and a friend's for coffee as well as the normal 9-5 in the office so not a bad week really :)

Tonight I'm feeling a bit poorly due to Maddie feeling the need to share her germs with me, therefore, my only plan for the evening is to win the lottery! :p

I hope your week is going well
Thanks for stopping by
Jo x

I love how you've got a close up shot and a far off shot on the same page, and the title is great! x
