Week Forty One

Well what a week that was!  Here are the highlights:

On Monday I went to the theatre with my mum to see Pam Ayres, I have always loved Pam and she was amazing live!
Afterwards I tweeted about how good it had been and Pam herself replied!
Maddie loves hats and she was very excited to find this spider hat :)
Alfie loved spending time in the garden enjoying the sunshine we've been having :)
I had some really happy mail :)
Alfie found it hard to get out of bed in the mornings, lazy boy!
I got home from work on Thursday to find this had been erected, I had no idea why and my garden was left a muddy mess! I now know why it's there and can't wait for it to be gone!
Later on Thursday someone drove into the back on my car, I had no battery on my phone, more's the pity because the driver who hit me was either ill or drunk :( Luckily the accident wasn't too bad.

I was very naughty after slimming and had this for dinner, this is a SMALL cod!!!
Dirty pudding :)
Alfie enjoyed watching For The Love of Dogs.  If there are dogs barking on the TV he doesn't react at all but as soon as they cry or make noises of distress he gets concerned, bless him :)
On Friday my sister Jess didn't stop fist bumping at work so I had to do this fist bump to celebrate the start of my week off work :)
I also had this to celebrate my week off :)
Saturday was crop day and I managed to get a lot of Project Life done :)
I had lots of cuddles with my girl :)
Did my menu planning so I have a good weight loss on Thursday.
And I finished the weekend with wine, sock knitting and Downton Abbey :)
Today I'm going to the funeral of the person I sat next to on my very first day at school :(

Here's hoping the rest of the week is good.

Thanks for stopping by
Jo xx

Oh, no! That's so sad. I'm sorry.

I hope there is something nice to be found further along in your week to give you a lift after the funeral.

Oh, I'm so sorry to read that Jo. Goodness, that brought me up short at the end of your post. I hope it went as well as can be expected.

So sorry to hear about the funeral. So sad to lose a friend at such a young age (and we are still young even if our children don't think so) xx
