Week Twenty Five

This LATE blog post is brought to you courtesy of a cluster headache clashing with a pressure headache that lasted just over 2 days! At least it's gone now and I can share the highlights of week twenty five:

It's so hard to get a good picture of Alfie in the garden, he just won't stay still!
Me and Jo ditched the walking on Tuesday to go to Zumba instead, she loved it just as much as I do :)
And we moved our walk to Wednesday night :)
There was lots of family time this week after being out of the house most of the week before!
My weight loss is still going well and I'm still enjoying dirty pudding!  This one was amazing, shortbread, Belgian chocolate, raspberry jam and cream :)
I was very mean when my friend had to stay home alone :)
I enjoyed 20 minutes in the sunshine while the office car was being cleaned :)
We had a lot of rain, lucky I wore wellies for a walk in the park on Saturday!
Because there were puddles everywhere!
Bingo loved all of the water though :)
I had a lovely lunch out at Gorgeous Gerties and I managed to resist their delicious homemade cakes!
I decided it was time to buy some summer shoes, the way the weather is going I don't think I'll get much wear out of my flip flops!
The next day was totally different and it was lovely to be walking in the sunshine :)
I just love this photo, Sarah and her boy Bingo :)
Bingo lives opposite a tennis club so he's always sending presents home for Alfie :)
We ended the week enjoying a BBQ.
And before I knew it Monday arrived along with headaches!

I hope you're having a great week.

Week Twenty Four

Week twenty four is over.  It's Sunday evening, I'm typing my Monday morning post and I am absolutely knackered!  Read on to find out why...

We managed to find the time at work for a quick selfie :)
Maddie wants a moustache!
I went to my first ever Zumba class and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it!  Just look at that hot sweaty face :)
I drew my teams for the office sweepstakes :)
My mum had a couple of little wins at bingo :)
My friend Steph came down from Yorkshire and stayed with me on Thursday night.  We went to my Mum's for a quick visit but didn't leave until 10:30pm, then we sat up at mine talking until we went to bed at 1:30am and then carried on chatting in bed until 3:30am! It was hard getting up for work on Friday!
We still managed to fit in dirty pudding :)
Maddie was modelling her new top at work :)
I couldn't resist this M&S bargain, for a cup collector it's a perfect tin.  Sam said she would "take one for the team" and eat all of the biscuits in it!
Alfie enjoyed a roll about in the sunshine :)
Sarah's dog Bingo enjoyed a swim on our walk on Saturday morning :)
Me and Sarah started prepping for the street party that was happening the next day.
Sarah was in charge of the children's games so we made this for Pin the Crown on the Queen :)
She boiled some eggs and we sprayed them gold for the egg and spoon race :)
And we couldn't stop laughing as we pranced about wearing these :)
Sunday morning saw us on a very wet dog walk, everything was soaked when we got home!
But the sun came out in time for the street party :)
Where we had a selfie with the Queen :)
And were amazed by the, er, amazing cakes!
The children loved the games and the adults enjoyed eating, drinking and chatting!

So a week of late nights and early mornings for me, hopefully this week I'll be able to catch up on some much needed sleep!

Have a great week and thanks for stopping by

Five Favourites From May

It's time to share my five favourite photos from May, yet again I had a tough time narrowing it down to just five!

Here are the photos:
That hold the memories:
Of the fun times:
And the great days:
And the funny faces :)
That will remind me of May 2016!

I'm so looking forward to working with these photos.

Week Twenty Three

A week that starts with a Bank Holiday is always a good one, here are the highlights:

Me and Paul enjoyed some refreshments while people watching down on the South coast:
I inadvertently painted my nails the same colour as my raincoat, well I wasn't expecting rain when I did them!
I managed to fit in some midweek scrapping!
Maddie decided she'd had enough of trying on hats and went for masks instead :)
Alfie got comfy!
I had a bit of luck on a scratch card :)
Although I gained half a pound I still enjoyed dirty pudding :)
Almost everyone in the office went to the races for Ladies Day, the weather was horrible so I was happy to be stuck in the office with a chai tea :)
Me and Sarah enjoyed a meal out :)
I woke up really early on Saturday so, after doing all of my housework, I went for a long walk in the park.
On Sunday the weather was glorious so after cutting the grass and getting the bedding on the line I spent some time just sitting, reading and enjoying a cuppa :)
In the afternoon I went to Sarah's for a BBQ, we make a great BBQ team :)
Here's the hostess:
And here's the chief food taster!
The food really was delicious.  Sarah's mother in law joined us and it was lovely just to sit and chat in the sunshine.
Then I headed home to watch Misery with Maddie.  She's just finished the book and couldn't wait to watch the film again.
A really lovely week and now I'm looking forward to the next one.
