Week Twenty Five!

Week twenty five was a quiet one, here are the highlights:

Alfie was pleased to have me home from Paul's and wouldn't leave my side!
I did some more work on my Attic24 bag.
And even managed to get the main part of the bag finished!
I enjoyed a nice glass of wine with my book in the garden.
I was Slimmer of the Week for the second week running!
And I treated myself with a dirty pudding :)
On Saturday I went for a long walk over the park with a friend.  I need to lose 3lbs to get my 4 stone award so I took my walking poles with me to burn more calories!
After the walk we enjoyed a brew on Sarah's balcony :)
Alfie tried his first ever frozen yogurt for dogs and he loved it!
I had a little win at bingo which came in handy as it's Maddie's 20th birthday a week today!
I made a start on the flowers for my bag, I got it right on the 4th attempt!
Another 5k walk over the park on Sunday in the sunshine.
And a real treat was having some fresh honey straight from the hive, it's lovely knowing a beekeeper :)
The last full week in June is going to be busy starting with a compliance visit at work today but I have a lovely, long weekend to look forward to so it's not all bad.

I hope you have a good week.

Week Twenty Three & Twenty Four!

I'm back!  Sorry this is photo heavy but I've combined the last two weeks to show a glimpse of what I've been up to.  Week twenty three looked a lot like this:

I tried a new Slimming World recipe, it was lush!
I had glass of wine with my mum :)
These two had plenty of cuddles :)
I call this shot " Dreaming of Home Time"!
I went to my first knit and natter night with the crop girls, it was really lovely.
And I had dirty pudding :)
Working in Epsom means you see lots of women dressed up for Ladies Day, this weirdo was in the office!
After being apart for over three months I finally got to see Paul!
And we had a lovely weekend in the sunshine.
I managed to finish this cute cardigan.
And we spent a nice morning at a car boot sale.
I started working on the Attic24 crochet bag.
And had some new ink, it will look much better when it's healed :)
After such a long separation from Paul we hit a bit of a speed bump so week twenty four wasn't that great for me, here are the highlights:

I spent time in the garden with Alfie and my book.
My Studio Calico kit turned up in super quick time!
I saw this little beauty on her birthday and she loved the cardigan I made her.
She also loved this cake my sister made her!
I was Slimmer of the Week and didn't have dirty pudding!
I said goodbye to these two for the weekend.
And said hello to this pretty girl.
I spent another weekend with Paul, who decided it was time for a shave! I'm really hoping that we're over that speed bump now because I love him so much.
I'm hoping that this week is going to be so much better.

Week Twenty Two

Another week has passed and now here we are in June!  These are the highlights of my week:

Maddie had been really poorly over the weekend, she's hardly ever ill and that makes her a bad patient!  Luckily she felt a lot better on Monday!
On Tuesday I had a lovely surprise when a case of wine turned up for me at work from a happy client :)
On Wednesday Maddie's friend came out at 10pm on a cold and wet evening to deliver these homemade cinnamon swirls, she has some lovely friends :)
Maddie gave Alfie an empty bottle but the big lemon didn't know what to do with it so just sat for ages holding it in his mouth :)
And then he jumped up on the sofa to give her a cuddle :)
Another weight loss, another dirty pudding :)
We had a French market in the Market Square outside my office, it was so expensive though so no treats for me :(
Trying to get a nice picture of us together is impossible!
My 4 year old niece made this for me and said the picture on the top was me when I had Maddie in my tummy :)
Saturday was a special day which included a trip to The Fluff-a-Torium in Dorking:
If you like wool and felt then it's the shop for you!
And here's the little haul I got, can't wait to make some socks from that wool!
There is also a great quilt shop in Dorking and it would have been rude not to have made a little purchase there too :)
Then the highlight of the day, afternoon tea at Gorgeous Gerties to celebrate a friend's special birthday.
It was amazing.
And with all of the crop girls there it was very loud!
Sunday was a glorious day so I spent most of it in the garden.  I was knitting and reading while Alfie was having a great time playing with his toys and chasing bees!
By the end of the day he was exhausted!
So another great week has passed and I'm hoping this one will be just as good, especially as I'm planning a trip to the seaside at the weekend :)

I hope you have a great week.
