Week Sixteen And I Got A Bit Crafty!

Week sixteen was a good one, what week that starts with a Bank Holiday Monday isn't?? Here are the highlights:

It's taken a while but I finally got my first new pound coin!
I came home from Paul's and had cuddles with my boy :)
Zumba was great as usual :)
I had the day off on Thursday and got up early to do my shopping, halfway through the store was evacuated when the fire alarm went off :(
I'd had the day off to go to the Hobbycraft and Stitch Show with Sandra :)
We saw a blast from the past!
My niece had told me she wanted a James Dean poster for her birthday, which was the following day, so I found this for her.  She'll have to put some effort in before she can put it on the wall :)
I lost 2 and a half pounds and was over the moon to get this award!
It made dirty pudding taste amazing :)
I went to see my niece Elsie on her birthday, she loved the James Dean cross stitch kit :)
Then I met up with some old work colleagues for a glass of bubbly :)
Now that I'm a lot smaller I really want to make some of my own clothes so I went fabric shopping, the pirate fabric is for Maddie :)
I may have picked up a new hobby at the craft show, block printing, so I had a little practise :)
And then went for a game of bingo, no luck unfortunately :(
In the evening I decided it was time to get out my very neglected hexis :)
I was up and out early on Sunday morning doing a 4 mile walk!
And then spent the rest of the day being crafty :)
I had a great start to this week when I was told my lump is most probably a cyst, I'll find out for sure next Tuesday.

Have a great week and thanks for stopping by

Week Fifteen And I Partied Hard

Week fifteen didn't have a great start but, as the song says, "it's not how you start it's how you finish" and the week had a great ending.  Here's how it panned out:

First thing on Monday morning I was at the doctor's to show off my lump.  I was given an urgent referral to the Royal Marsden hospital :(
The first thing I did was take the rest of day off work and head to see my bestie :) We went walking and talking and then eating.
I have never, ever been a comfort eater, I've always eaten most when I'm happy, but on this day I just couldn't stop :(
On Tuesday my head was back in the game and I was back in the office where my lovely colleague, Keith, had treated us all to a packet of mini eggs for Easter :)
I had some happy mail, my first ever Quirky Kit :)
I lost a pound and won the raffle at slimming :)
And I really enjoyed dirty pudding :)
On Friday I headed out with my lovely friend Allison :) This girl is always there for me when I need her most.  She also loves dancing to The Time Warp just as much as I do :)
We went to celebrate my friend Pete's 50th birthday.  Boy did I drink that night! I also danced my socks off :)
On Saturday I headed down to Paul's for the rest of the long weekend.
Where I relaxed and finished a pair of socks :)
This week has been great so far and now I just have to get through the weekend before going to the hospital for my appointment first thing on Monday morning.

I hope your week is going well, thanks for stopping by

Week Fourteen Had A Lovely Shower

Week fourteen was a good one, here are the highlights:

It was finally time for me to get a new coat, all of my current coats were far too big for me!
Now that the weather is improving Zumba is getting a little bit tougher :)
But walking through the park in the evening is lovely :)
Me and my sister randomly ended up standing in front of a mirror together and said how it would make a lovely photo so we got my niece Elsie to take a snap :)
I gained 1 and a half pound this week but still enjoyed dirty pudding :)
We had a sweep stake in the office for the Grand National, I didn't win but Maddie did!
I had a lovely walk on Saturday morning :)
And went to my friend Lauren's baby shower in the afternoon :)
I made this blanket for the baby :)
Sunday was a gorgeous day so after my walk...
...I cut the grass and spent the rest of the day sitting in the sun...
...listening to this boy chewing his ball for FOUR hours!!!!!
In the evening I thought it was about time I got a pair of socks finished, they've been on the needles far too long!
So another lovely week is done and dusted and it was just as I was thinking about how great my life is that I found the lump :(

Have a great week and thanks for stopping by

Week Thirteen And I Got On My Bike!

Another week has passed, another month is over!  Here are the highlights:

Instead of going to the park in my lunch break I decided to have a walk up to the Downs, it's uphill all the way!
It is so lovely to finish my swim and come home while it's still light :)
Zumba was fun and our lovely instructor made some gorgeous cakes for us, I was good and only had a bite :)
Our hedgehog was out and about for the first time this year.  I've been lucky enough to have hedgehogs in my garden for the last 10 years :)
My evening walk took a route through the park, I really do love these lighter evenings :)
I treated myself to a new watch which arrived in a rather over sized box!
I only lost half a pound this week, I was hoping for 1 and a half to get my eight stone award :( Dirty pudding was still lovely though :)
I had plenty of cuddles with my boy this week :)
I cut the grass for the first time this year!
Saturday was crop and shop day :)
I had a great time cropping and spent a little time shopping :)
I had a non scale victory too.  I'd tried these shorts on a few weeks ago in a size 14 but they felt a bit roomy, I went back to try them on this weekend and I got in to a size 10!!!
And I managed to get a whole layout done! :)
Saturday night was quiz night and we didn't do too badly!
On Sunday I got up early and got all of my housework and ironing done before I went on a 3 mile cycle, my first of the year!
I followed this up with a 4 and a half mile walk before cycling 3 miles home again!
During the walk Bingo found a huge, smelly pile of grass cutting that he just had to have a roll in!
Alfie spent the afternoon playing in the garden while I had a read :)
And I ended the day doing some crochet and, for some unknown reason, feeling like I'd been really lazy all day!
I'm looking forward to this new week and the lovely plans I have for the weekend.

Have a good one and thanks for stopping by
