Week Thirty Seven

Week thirty seven was a really quiet one, here are the highlights:

The weather was gorgeous with lots of sun so lots of playtime in the garden for Alfie :)
I got caught up with pen pal letters while watching Jack Bauer :)
Witnessing our Queen becoming the longest serving monarch was amazing, I wonder when or even if that record will ever be beaten!
It was great to see blue skies :)
Dirty pudding was lovely :)
Alfie managed to find his birthday present a day early, doesn't he look proud of himself?!?
I had a night out with dinner at bingo, very rock and roll!
I tried a new Slimming World recipe, it was delicious :)
I thought I'd better get the grass cut because who knows how long the nice weather will last.
We celebrated Alfie's birthday with cake, we've had him 6 years now!
I went to a great show our local theatre, music from the 50s and 60s.
On Sunday I went to Painshill Park for the Memory Walk.
Eastenders very own Nasty Nick started us off!
The walk went up and down and up and down but the scenery was amazing!
I raised over £200 and would like to thank everyone who sponsored me.
The reward for finishing was lovely :)
And then after getting the car cleaned:
It was time to tend to my blisters...
And enjoy a glass or two of wine :)
This week is going to have some highs (meeting up with good friends) and some lows (having a tooth pulled out!) but I'm looking forward to all of it!

Week Thirty Six

Week thirty six was a bit quieter and it started with a Bank Holiday :)  Here are the highs and the lows:

We had a leisurely start on Monday with coffee and cake :)
Alfie was pleased to see me home, I missed my boy.
I had Tuesday off work and before completing five layouts I had coffee and cake with Sandra and Emma :)
I had a house guest for the week :)
Maddie actually came in to the garden, that's twice this year now!
Dirty pudding was all Slimming World friendly due to us having a bake off in group, they were all delicious :)
A naughty start to Friday morning!
Maddie was upset that Alfie didn't want to cuddle her :)
Paul came up for the weekend and we went out for a gorgeous lunch
And then had a walk along the canal :)
He was grumpy at bingo
But his face changed when he had a win and for once didn't have to share it!
I had a couple of sleepless nights due to an abscess on my tooth but luckily I managed to see the dentist on Sunday.
And then I had this not so little chap jumping around while I cut the grass :)
Thankfully my tooth is a lot better now and I'm looking forward to this week.

Have a good one, thanks for stopping by

Five Favourites From August

This month it was so hard to narrow it down to just five favourites but I did it and here they are:

Paul's first visit to Nandos!
A walk on the beach:
Cuddle time:
Learning all about the bees!
A walk in the rain:
I'm really looking forward to scrapping these and I'll be back at the end of the month to share the layouts.

Five Favourites Finished

I had a day off work this week and managed to spend that time wisely by creating five layouts, I also found time for coffee and cake with friends!

Paul had a win at bingo but every single time he's had a win he's had to share with someone!  He's still happy to have a shout though :)
Maddie really hates being outside and I was so surprised when she decided to come and sit out the garden with me for 20 minutes!  She hadn't been feeling well that day and I hope the fresh air made her better.
It was lovely seeing George on his birthday and great to share his birthday cake :)
When my sister Jessica started working with us she said she needed a calculator, I managed to find this floppy green one for 50p and got it as a joke.  Jemma wondered if it was the right sort of calculator for a mortgage administrator to use and then jumped right on Jessica's desk to use it!
Our first visit to Sprinkles this year and it was delicious!  I thought this ancient kit had the perfect papers in it :)
I'll be sharing my five favourite photos from August soon.

Week Thirty Five

Another week over, another week closer to Christmas!  Here are the highlights for week thirty five:

Rain, rain and more rain!
This boy hates the rain and lays like this until his paws are wiped!
I had some cuddle time with Alice :)
Another weight loss and another dirty pudding :)
These two had plenty of cuddles :)
Paul was happy that Frieda had some red velvet cake for him :)
We had a walk to the beach in the rain :)
And then I spent some time crocheting, watching 24 and drinking Root Beer :)
On Sunday me and Paul had a lovely day out in one of my favourite places, Weymouth :)
We watched the dragon boat races:
and had a coffee on the beach before walking around the town:
Then it was time for lunch so we found a nice spot on the harbour:
And had the most amazing crab sandwiches :)
We had a stroll around the harbour where I found this cute front door:
Before heading up to a very windy Portland Bill!
Where it was time for the last treat of the week :)
I won't be surprised if I have a weight gain this week but it was worth it!

Have a great week and thanks for stopping by
