Week Twenty Eight

Another week has flown by, here are the highlights:

The weather was certainly a lot brighter :)
Just a normal day in the office...
Wearing an elephant outfit :)
I really enjoyed Zumba, I just wish they did the same class on another evening so I could do it twice a week!
I started to notice how all of my hard work has been paying off!
I treat myself to this and I've already picked a few things I want to make :)
Another normal day in the office with visitors bearing gifts!
After a full day at work I came home and cut the grass...
Before going on a 4 mile walk!
We had food taster at slimming, some really delicious things to try.
But not quite as good as dirty pudding!
We certainly got that Friday feeling :)
Alfie wanted a biscuit...and he got one :)
Saturday was a crop day where I managed a couple of layouts before Sandra stole my blending tool and took it home with her!
On Sunday I went for a lovely walk with Bingo.
Before having a cuddle with these two when I went to collect my stolen property :)
In the afternoon I read in the garden
Before I came inside when the sun hid behind the clouds and did some scrapping :)
In the evening I relaxed by watching Land Girls while the football was on in the background :)
This week is a short week for me at work and then a four day weekend, it's not all relaxing though because I'm taking part in the 10k Poppy Walk in London.

Have a great week and thanks for stopping by

Five Favourites From June

June was such a busy month that I didn't have a moment or the mojo to play with paper :(

This month will, hopefully, be different.
I feel my mojo returning with a vengeance!
And I have a crop on Saturday :)
A photo order has been placed.
And I am going to make a dent in getting my five favourites from May....
as well as June scrapped!

I hope your week is going well.

Week Twenty Seven

Another fantastic week is over and done with, here are the highlights:

After my win at bingo I decided to treat myself to this, if the weather is bad and I can't go out walking there is no excuse for me not to get some exercise!
My colleague, Holly, made some delicious Rocky Road :)
I had a great session at Zumba :)
Present all wrapped for a special person's birthday :)
The last photo of special person aged 21 :)
The first photo of special person aged 22 :)
We had my mum and my friend Sarah over to enjoy a Chinese for Maddie's birthday.
And there was chocolate cake!
Alfie wasn't left out and he enjoyed his special cupcake :)
The weather has still been awful!
But the sun did put in an appearance for my first visit to Paul's in just over a month!
And we had such a lovely weekend.
He even made me this delicious afternoon tea complete with cucumber sandwiches :)
Alfie was pleased to see me home though. Here he is doing one of his jobs, making sure the empty toilet roll holders are taken to the recycling box :)
And before I knew it the sun had gone down on another lovely weekend.
I hope this week is a good one for everyone.

Week Twenty Six

Well this weeks blog post is very late for no other reason than I've just been so busy!  Here are the highlights for week twenty six:

Maddie loved being in the office, she just hid it well :)
I had a little run out to the airport to collect Sarah's daughter after her visit to Amsterdam:
I couldn't believe how many slugs were in the garden the other night, no wonder the hedgehogs love it here!
I went to a quiz night, we didn't win but we did have a lot of fun and raised money for the local hospice :)
This sign just made me laugh, we haven't had that many days here when it hasn't rained!
Maddie voted for the first time ever, she refused to let me take a photo of her in front of the Polling Station sign though :(
Dirty pudding was lovely :)
The votes were counted and I have to say I was a bit shocked when I woke up on Friday morning.
I started Saturday with a lovely walk in the park while the sun had actually bothered to put in an appearance!
I found some giant strawberries!
I had a very nice couple of wins at bingo :)
I did my Race for Life, I ran some and I walked some and I was very happy with my efforts :)
Me and my sister, Jemma, at the finish line :)
Maddie wanted to paint her nails but had a hard time choosing a colour!
And then I spent Sunday evening snuggled up with this boy, trying to hear the TV over his snoring!
Another lovely week and now week twenty seven is almost over too!  Where is the year going?!?!

I hope you've enjoyed your week and thanks for stopping by
