Week Nineteen Was Workout, Workout, Workout!

Another week has gone by far too quickly, here are the highlights:

After a break of four weeks it was great to get back in the pool again!
It was also great to be back at Zumba after a two week break :)
The weather has been gorgeous :)
On Wednesday, after a full day at work, I cut the grass
And then went on a six mile walk!
I got my scrapping mojo back and did a Christmas layout!
I saw this little cutie :)
I gained two and a half pounds this week but I know this is because I've started exercising again so I'm not too worried.  I won the raffle so it wasn't all bad :)
Dirty pudding tasted great as usual :)
I had a training day at work on Friday so couldn't go on my normal lunch time walk so I went after work instead:
On Saturday I couldn't get out for a walk at all so made use of my mini trampoline :)
I spent a lovely afternoon scrapping and watching the last ever Gilmore Girls :)
In the evening I went to bingo with the girls but, as usual, I didn't have a win :(
Sunday morning I went for a lovely walk over the golf course.
In the afternoon I marked out a pattern for some pyjama bottoms I'm making...
...then I cut the fabric, great progress really because I've been threatening to make them for over a year!
The sun was really shining so I headed outside for a coffee and a read
While Alfie played with his ball :)
And then the sun went down and it was time to grab my knitting and watch TV while Alfie had a snooze :)
Now another week has started and I'm wondering if I'll have a completed pair of pyjama bottoms by the end of it!

Have a great week and thanks for stopping by

It's back!!! Five Favourites January

Recently I filed away a huge pile of layouts that had been building up over the past year!  I thought it would be a quick job but it actually took over 2 hours!

Finding the correct album for the corresponding year on the layout and then finding the correct gap in the album was a real pain :(
One thing that was really easy though was filing away the layouts I'd done from my Five Favourites project.  Five layouts a month, all done in order, all stacked in order, 10 minutes and it was job done :)
It made me realise that I need to continue with the project.  I've still been selecting five favourite photos each month but I haven't been sharing them and I think that's where the problem lies.
When I share the photos on my blog at the start of the month it makes me ensure the layouts are finished and ready to share by the end of the month.
So here are my five favourites from way back in January, I'll be sharing February's photos next week and then trying to get all 10 layouts done by the end of the month! Wish me luck :)

Thanks for stopping by and if you do the Five Favourites project then let me know :)

Week Eighteen Included A Night Out WIth My Girl

A week that starts with a Bank Holiday is always a good one, here are the highlights:

We were very lucky to have a sunny day down in Bournemouth :)
So me and Paul went for a lovely walk along the beach with a pit stop for lunch!
In the evening I had a little win at bingo :)
Me and Maddie went to the cinema to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2, it was amazing!
I went on a 6 mile walk after work on Wednesday!
I had such a naughty weekend food wise so I made sure I was extra good for the rest of the week, this meant I had a maintain and enjoyed my dirty pudding :)
Saturday was crop day and I had a great time :)
Then I had a trim, I've decided to grow my hair again because I love the process of growing out the layers :)
In the evening I went to bingo where we were all given this cute pirate pug, Maddie has called it Petunia!
After bingo I decided to file away some layouts, I thought it would be a quick job but it took over 2 hours! It was great to look back over the layouts I'd created and made me realise that I need to start doing my five favourites again each month.
I also gave my stash a good sort out so didn't go to bed until well after midnight!
On Sunday morning I was up and out early getting my 10,000 steps done!
Then I spent the rest of the  morning scrapping and catching up with Bull.
It really was a day of two halves, the morning was cold with spots of rain and the afternoon was warm and sunny enough to read in the garden!
Alfie was tired out after running around playing with his ball!
And that massive stash sort out really got me excited about scrapping again so I created this layout :)
The rest of the evening was spent with feet up, sock knitting and watching TV.

Have a great week and thanks for stopping by

Week Seventeen And I Got Some Great News!

This week had an awful start but it sure did get a hell of a lot better, here are the highlights:

Monday I was up and out early to go to the Royal Marsden for my appointment with the urgent breast care department :(
I had a mammogram, which was totally pain free, and then a scan which resulted in a biopsy, again totally pain free. A few people said that I was brave to post this picture on social media but if it prompts just one person to get a lump checked out then it's totally worth it.
The doctors thought it was nothing to worry about, probably just a cyst, so I went out for lunch after my appointment :)
And then cleaned the company car :)
Before heading to bingo for dessert :)
I met my brother's new dog Rufus :) He is such a cutie and as soon as I picked him up he put his head on my shoulder and started snoring!
Maddie was moaning that she never appears on my blog so I made sure I got a picture of her :)
I lost half a pound and enjoyed dirty pudding, I also got the call to say my lump was just a fibrosis cyst so it felt like a celebratory dirty pudding :)
This boy was a bit naughty so I got a snap of him looking a sulky after I'd told him off :)
I cleaned my own car :)
I went to see my aunt and stopped off at a lovely wool shop nearby.  I've been visiting this wool shop for over 25 years and although I didn't buy anything it would have been rude not to pop in and have a look :)
After visiting my aunt I carried on down to Paul's where we had a lovely cream tea.  I had only eaten a bowl of porridge that day and I was starving so there was no before photo :)
I finish my first Rose City Roller sock, I love this pattern!
On Sunday we went for a lovely four mile walk :)
A walking boot sort of walk around a local reservoir.
And then we popped in to a new shop that has just opened in Bournemouth.
That sell chocolate kebabs along with the most amazing milkshakes!!!!
I think I'm definitely looking at a gain on the scales this week but I don't have any regrets, it's not like I do it every day.
This week is going well so far and I have a crop to look forward to at the weekend!

Have a great week and thanks for stopping by
