Week Twenty Three

A week that starts with a Bank Holiday is always a good one, here are the highlights:

Me and Paul enjoyed some refreshments while people watching down on the South coast:
I inadvertently painted my nails the same colour as my raincoat, well I wasn't expecting rain when I did them!
I managed to fit in some midweek scrapping!
Maddie decided she'd had enough of trying on hats and went for masks instead :)
Alfie got comfy!
I had a bit of luck on a scratch card :)
Although I gained half a pound I still enjoyed dirty pudding :)
Almost everyone in the office went to the races for Ladies Day, the weather was horrible so I was happy to be stuck in the office with a chai tea :)
Me and Sarah enjoyed a meal out :)
I woke up really early on Saturday so, after doing all of my housework, I went for a long walk in the park.
On Sunday the weather was glorious so after cutting the grass and getting the bedding on the line I spent some time just sitting, reading and enjoying a cuppa :)
In the afternoon I went to Sarah's for a BBQ, we make a great BBQ team :)
Here's the hostess:
And here's the chief food taster!
The food really was delicious.  Sarah's mother in law joined us and it was lovely just to sit and chat in the sunshine.
Then I headed home to watch Misery with Maddie.  She's just finished the book and couldn't wait to watch the film again.
A really lovely week and now I'm looking forward to the next one.

Thanks for stopping by
Jo xx

Misery is such a great film! It's years since I've seen it but it would definitely stand another watch.

Hope this week is a good one

I still blame the rain on you choosing to paint your nails the colour of your raincoat xxx

Wonderful! What a lovely mix of ordinary but fun things - like the walk in the park & sharing a meal with friends. I hope the next one is equally good, too. With more SUN!!!!

It does sound like a lovely week, with a proper dose of relaxation. But I just don't know about the color of that nail polish - like it on the raincoat though.
