Thank you for the comments and welcome back on my last post, I'm pleased I took the plunge!

With that in mind I thought I would jump in and join WOYWW again over at Julia's blog.

I've moved a few bits from my craft desk and have currently set up home on the dining table. At the moment it looks like this:


I recently found some great Halloween photos so I treated myself to some Halloween stash, believe it or not in the mountain of stash I have there was nothing Halloween related!


So now I have the photos, the papers and embellishments and I'm hoping to come up with a layout in time for Story Telling Sunday over at Sian's blog this weekend.

WOYWW #145

Wow, I can't believe a week has passed already.  I haven't even had a chance to comment on last week's desks but I will, I promise.

A quick update on this week as it sort of ties in with my desk.  Paul came up on Monday which was lovely; we went to bingo but no winnings :( I had the day off work on Tuesday and we had a lovely day out and also got some bargains.  This was my bargain:

A new portable desk for my scrapping all for the great price of £3 :) It means that I don't have to always be tucked away in my bedroom, where my craft desk is, and can spend time with Maddie.  The height adjusts and the top tilts, so I can sit on the sofa or one of the dining table chairs.  I'm a very happy bunny.

I couldn't wait to use it so got cracking with a layout as soon as I got home:

The weekly challenge this week over at UKScrappers was to use three or more photos, to use paints and mists, and to doodle ~ the doodling had to be more than just a fake row of stitches.

My doodling was some music notes.

I haven't joined in with this for such a long time, mainly due to my desk being used as a bit of a dumping ground!

Well I thought enough's enough, if I show off my untidy desk then it will motivate me to sort it out and actually get some scrapping done on it!

It's covered in kits so I'm going to start another drive to get them used up! Hopefully there will be an improvement by next week :)

We have had some lovely weather here this week kidding us that Spring is here but today it's grey and wet.

I've actually got something on my workdesk today, a layout I've been working on using this months Gotta Craft kit. Like most people who get kits I get so excited when I know it's been handed over to the postie and is on it's way to me. When it arrives I grab a coffee and really take time out to look at it then, put it back in it's pizza box and tuck it on a shelf. The arrival of this kit was no different except……I cut into it straight away!


The desk is a bit messy but I was scrapping until midnight.


And I had a go at making some embellishments using punches and cotton.

It seems that, no matter what you do in life, you always get stuck with a ton of filing:

Two desks to show today, the one I love:



A bit messy because I still haven't tidied from the weekend!



I've been busy printing pictures because it's crop week this week, one tomorrow and one Saturday, good times.

The other desk is the one I'm forced to sit at Monday to Friday 9:00-5:30 so that I can feed my stash habit!

At last I have a workdesk and I can join in instead of just drooling over everyone elses lovely desks :)

So what's on my workdesk today:



Gorgeous October Afternoon Seaside papers all ready to do a layout using pictures of me and Maddie playing in the paddling pool when she was a baby.



I've also added a few more mists and dabbers to the shelf.
