First Week's Over!

How quickly did the first week of the new year go? Seems like only yesterday I was getting ready to see the New Year in with friends!

I decided to do Project 365 again this year and follow that with a weekly round up (I'm toying with doing a Project Life album this year and think these posts may help) so here goes:

On New Year's Day I drove to Fleet services to meet Paul on his way back from Disney. Meeting him at services on the 1st January is becoming a bit of a tradition now!

I got straight back in the saddle and returned to the gym, I'm sure this helped with the 2.5lbs weight loss I had this week :)

I found this cute little case in the sales, full of lovely smelling products and all for £5! I intend to store my washi tape in the case and, if I'm honest, that's the only reason I bought it :)

I bought a new Slimming World cook book and got back into menu planning:

The decorations came down and this really is one Christmas in a box I don't like, I miss my twinkly lights :(

Celebrated a friend's birthday with a treat, these cakes - not made by me - looked great and were delicious:

I bought oil for the car last night and put in on the passenger seat as a reminder for the morning. I got in the car this morning and the oil had leaked all over the passenger seat :( I then realised I hadn't put the radiator cap back on when I put water in the car last week so had to track down a spare:

If only all car parts could be that cheap!

So all in all my week hasn't been too bad.

I hope your year has had a good start.

Thanks for stopping by
Jo xx

Happy new year Jo, well done on the weight loss, it is frustrating when stuff like that happens, with the car, or anything really, one minute you are all "yay!! then straight back to "tsk"!!!lol
We have had a few months like that!

You're right! It has gone so quickly and I can't decide if I think that's a good thing or a bad. I'm glad you told the story about the oil - it's making me feel better about the kleenex through the washing machine incident I have to go and clear up now :)
