Crochet Mood Blanket - Week Eight

I'm almost two months in to this year long project and I am still loving it!  Here are my colours for the last seven days:

Day 50 - Petrol, I had another weight gain and I still had toothache :(

Day 51 - Magenta, I had a busy day but it was the start of the weekend!

Day 52 - Silver, another busy day but it was lovely and sunny :)

Day 53 - Spice, I had a lazy, cosy day :)

Day 54 - Saffron, it was a lovely, sunny day and I was almost pain free :)

Day 55 - Cream, I had a nice day and saw an old school friend for the first time in 27 years!

Day 56 - Turquoise, another sunny day but this time it was warm too!

And here it is, the perfect size for a lap blanket at the moment but still plenty of growing to do:

It's raining here today so I wouldn't be surprised if today's square is grey :)

Week Eight

Week eight was all about pain for me :( I've had terrible pains in my mouth, ear and the whole side of my face, my mum thinks it's neuralgia so I had a trip to the dentist.  Here are the highlights from my week though :)

Paul got me this amazing shower curtain :)

She was happy to be at work.....not!

I made pancakes :)

Which Maddie loved:

And Alfie drooled over :)

The dentist loaded me up with drugs, it looks like I have a troublesome tooth but he doesn't think that's what causing my facial pain :(

Maddie got a very late Christmas present!

After having a broken grill for almost eight years I finally remembered that the new oven I got way back in September had a fully working grill!  Lovely cheese on toast:

Alfie gave me lots of cuddles to make me feel better :)

Dirty pudding :)

Chips for lunch!!! I know that's bad but I was feeling so down and hurting so much:

It's getting lighter and lighter when I get home from work and I am loving it!

A night at bingo with the girls, no winnings though :(

Although I did manage to get hold of this mini Oscar for my resident film buff!

And on Sunday I stayed in the warm with my snoring pooch and did some crochet.

I've finished my antibiotics now and although the pain is still there it has subsided a bit.  I'm not due back at the dentist until next week and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I won't have to book an emergency appointment.

Crochet Mood Blanket - Week Seven

This week has been horrible.  I've had a migraine and toothache and I just couldn't get in to my crochet.  I missed a day and was feeling so fed up but I still managed to add seven more squares to my blanket.  Here's what they represent:

Day 43 - Lipstick, I had a weight gain but I was still feeling good.

Day 44 - Lime, I had a migraine :(

Day 45 - Saffron, I had a lovely day by the seaside with Paul :)

Day 46 - Grey, I had toothache and didn't get any sleep :(

Day 47 - Raspberry, I had a really busy day at work, at least it took my mind off the toothache!

Day 48 - Turquoise, it was a lovely, sunny day :)

Day 49 - Aspen, I finally got to the dentist and felt a whole lot better once he given me some drugs :)

And here is the progress:

I am still loving this project and I'm hoping that this coming week brings more happy colours to my blanket.

Week Seven

Week seven was a very quiet one with a not very nice ending :( Here are the highs and lows:

It's still quite light when we leave work which is nice :)

Maddie was feeling poorly again, I think she has developed an intolerance to onions. She's hoping I'm wrong because onions are a favourite of hers!

I had a lovely walk in the park on one of my lunch breaks :)

I had a small gain at slimming :(

I still enjoyed dirty pudding though :)

I had a lovely delivery of stash :)

I went to stay with this pretty girl :)

I got up to date with Project Life (well I've got all of my photos in the album, just need to tart it up :))

Paul got me an amazing present:

I've wanted one for ages and I think it's better than flowers or chocolates :)

We had a lovely Valentine's meal:

And enjoyed the nice weather with this not so little chap!

My week had a horrible ending due to a migraine on Friday that gave me a sleepless night. Luckily it was downgraded to a headache on Saturday. I was so looking forward to a full nights sleep but then got tooth ache so had another sleepless night :(

I have a feeling this is going to be a long week!

Crochet Mood Blanket - Week Six

Well I am pleased to say that I am still a happy hooker :)  Here is where the mood has taken me this week:

Day 36 - Lipstick, I was very happy with my weight loss :)

Day 37 - Spice, I was snuggled in front of the fire:

Day 38 - Pomegranate, I had a great day at football and the crop :)

Day 39 - Citron, I had a lovely, long walk in the sunshine :)

Day 40 - Turquoise, it was a very sunny, spring like day :)

Day 41 - Lime, I had a bad mouth ulcer :(

Day 42 - Copper, I was feeling mellow and relaxed :)

And here is how the monster is growing :)

I am looking forward to getting another week added to it :)
